Structural glass construction, statics of glass structures and applications of functional glass<\/h2>\n\t

In 2015, Mr. Dipl. Phys. Wolfgang Kahlert was publicly appointed and sworn in for the specialist field of \u201cglass construction\u201d \u2013 for the first time in the Federal Republic of Germany \u2013 by an engineering chamber (Ingenieur-Kammer Bau NRW).<\/p>\n

The focus of his work is on structural glass construction, the statics of glass constructions (e.g. all-glass facades and structural glazing facade systems) as well as applications of functional glass (sun protection, thermal insulation, sound insulation, fire protection, security).<\/p>\n

Especially in the context of individual approvals, expert opinions are usually required to assess unregulated construction types or products. Here, too, Wolfgang Kahlert, a graduate in physics, is recognized by many building inspectors for preparing these expert opinions.<\/p>\n
